what (a) weekend

I am knackered. I have spent a good portion of this weekend working and I don't like doing that. I also went to a beer festival so I can't complain too much I suppose.

Church yesterday was all age worship. Instead of have Anne as we usually would we were treated to an hour with Barbara. Credit where credit is due she tried something a little different, we had a sort of education on Christian Aid with power point and everything. Well just power point actually and you all know how I feel about that don't you. The highlight was at the beginning when she explained that she was projecting to the screen and if anyone wanted to move forward to see it better then now was the time to do so. So tom and his mates, who were sitting on the second row back, all got up and moved forward a row. Priceless, that lucky lad is blessed with both my looks and my quick wit and ready repartee….

After the service I was spoken to by Freda who, like me, was not happy about the methodists meeting. In fact she isn;t happy about a lot of other stuff as well, I know because she told me all of it. And she's not the only one, there are other people who aren't happy as well but they won't tell anyone, or rather anyone that can do something about it. 

So no one is happy. Will we move in with the meths? We have to really. Is that the end of the story? I most certainly hope not. Will the baptists buy our place? Over Freda's dead body and before you ask, no we don't have a graveyard. Exciting times, looks like another big clear the air church meeting in June.
